Argosy is a growth oriented, public corporation engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in Alberta, Canada.

Argosy Energy Inc. is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) under the symbol “GSY”.

In connection with the strategic alternatives process announced on May 1, 2012, the

Company also wishes to announce the engagement of Avonlea Ventures Inc.

DCC was engaged to:

• Develop and construct an Integrated Financial Model to include an Economic Model and 5 year Pro Forma Financial Statements (Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement and Balance Sheet) to meet the Corporation’s needs following the steps and processes outlined in DCC’s  Strategic Financial Modeling and Financing Road Map Process
• Assist in the valuation of the enterprise and its projects using the Integrated Financial Model
• Model various scenarios that would satisfy creditor requirements as well as position Argosy for long term sustainability
